“STUPA” Pagoda for Kentucky Meditation Peace Center & Buddhist Vihara!

Dear devotees, friends, and Sangha,

We kindly invite you all to take part in this meritorious deed to build a "STUPA" Pagoda for our temple (Kentucky Meditation Peace Center & Buddhist Vihara) at Louisville, Kentucky, USA !

We have been planning to situate a STUPA at our temple for a long time to the benefit the growing spiritual community in Kentucky, Tennessee and surrounding states in the USA. We are in need of a STUPA as well as other important sacred religious, and spiritual facilities in the temple (buddha shrine, meditation hall, home for Bodhi Tree and 28 Buddha, dining hall and living quarters for monks and nuns, area for lay meditation practitioners). Our Buddhist community is growing, however we still didn't collect enough funds, generous compassionate supports, sponsorships to start or complete some of these important projects.

We kindly request your generosity and supports for this meritorious deed to propagating the teaching of the Buddha. It would bring great merits and blessings for you, your family and all.

These are the greatest meritorious deeds that one should perform in their life time to accrue lots of merits, blessings to make their life happy here and here after. Offering, donating, and building a “STUPA” Pagoda for temple, Maha Sangha is a meritorious deed, the merits that accrued from performing this kind of offerings, and taking part, participating, sponsoring, contributing for that cannot be destroy by anything, any forces and that merits would bless with all the success happiness, peace, and long healthy life for all here and here after and at the end to achieve the bliss of Nibbana(Enlightenment) free from all kinds of Samsaric Sufferings.

It is also believed that the merit, or the positive karma, gained by the offerings conducting this kind of meritorious deeds could reduce the negative effects of other minor bad karma one may have committed. One would be blessed with long life, happiness, good health, good complexion, physical strength, peace and wisdom in this life and many more lives to come until one attains Nirvana.

“Generosity brings happiness at every stage of its expression. We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous. We experience joy in the actual act of giving something. And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given”

“Material success or wealth is neutral in itself, neither good or evil. It become evil only when one is attached to it or to amassing it for selfish reasons. It is good when one is not attached to it, and readily use it selflessly to benefit others in need. Wealth should lead to generosity, or it will become a spiritual obstacle. If there is propensity for great generosity for great charity, the richer the merrier”

“Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world”

“Here he/she is happy, hereafter he/she is happy; one who performs meritorious deeds is happy in both existences. Happily he/she exclaims: I have done meritorious deeds.” He/she is happier still when he/she is reborn in a higher world“
